TabTrade Overview - The Good and the Catch
TabTrade — The Short Version
TabTrade.com launched in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
That last detail is relevant. It says the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. Still preferable to a founder with no industry background.
They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.
Market coverage: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something this new, the breadth is not narrow.
The Software
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from one account. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both matters. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform previously, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.
FIX API is there for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is reportedly on the roadmap. That will make the platform set when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. $0 to start. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade has no minimum.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not something typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is where TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at a much wider range.
Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That is something about priorities.
Put together that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering holds up. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.
The FSRA Question
Now, the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a problem for you, stop reading. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Dodgy operations do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. None of this make it safe. But be part of how you think about it.
The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that makes sense comes down to your priorities.
The Bonus
TabTrade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You deposit, they add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before funding.
