What to Make of Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal
TabTrade — What It Is
TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
That last detail matters. It suggests the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. But better than a random name you cannot trace.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.
What you can trade: FX, indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, crypto, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform that launched in March 2026, that coverage is broad.
What You Trade On
Available: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from one account. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Getting both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Full charting, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you know MetaTrader previously, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the alternative. Better DOM. More responsive charts. cBot support. Plenty of traders prefer it once they try it.
FIX API is offered for bots but needs the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView is apparently in the works. That will make the platform set once it is live.
What You Pay
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Simple. No minimum deposit. Suits people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your actual cost per trade can be under half a pip. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade has no minimum.
VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, faster fills, tailored rates. Not for most retail traders. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.
How Fast Are the Fills
This is the thing Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. Most retail brokers operate at hundreds of milliseconds.
Does it matter? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. What matters is the setup is serious. That signals what kind of broker this is.
Put together those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get holds up. Few brokers with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.
Safety
Now, the part that matters. TabTrade is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No ASIC. No fund protection scheme. If that makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.
That said. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Dodgy operations do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. That does not guarantee anything. But factor into your assessment.
The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether this deal is worth it depends on you.
Welcome Offer
Tab Trade has bonus funds of up to two thousand dollars. Usual welcome offer. You deposit, TabTrade top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before you deposit.
