What to Make of Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal
The Broker — What It Is
TabTrade.com went live in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.
That last detail tells you something. It means the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But better than a random name you cannot trace.
TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.
What you can trade: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For something that launched in March 2026, that coverage is not narrow.
Platforms
You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. Many pick one platform. Having both matters. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Full charting, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Faster charting. cBot support. Many people prefer it once they try it.
FIX API is available for algo traders but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is said to be in the works. That will round things out when it lands.
Accounts and Pricing
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Simple. No minimum deposit. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not for most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.
Does it matter? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the setup is serious. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Put together that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get makes sense. Hardly anyone in this bracket offer execution like this.
Regulation
This is the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.
But. Benjamin Boulter built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Scam brokers do not bother with proper execution infrastructure. This does not make it safe. But inform your assessment.
The deal: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that is worth it is your call.
The Bonus
TabTrade offers a deposit bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Typical welcome offer. You put money in, they credit extra capital. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Check the terms before funding.
