What to Make of TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

Tab Trade - The Short Version

TabTrade.com launched in March 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.

His background tells you something. It says the person running this has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. Still more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.

What you can trade: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For something this new, that coverage is broad.

The Software

They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from the same login. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both is useful. You are not locked into one.

MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, automated trading, massive community. If you have traded on MetaTrader previously, there are no surprises.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Native automated trading. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 once they try it.

FIX API is there for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is reportedly in the works. That should be a good addition when it arrives.

What You Pay

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Simple. $0 to start. Works for people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your all-in cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade has no minimum.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, faster fills, tailored rates. Not something the average person. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.

Execution Speed

This is where this broker stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. The average platform operate at hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? If you scalp, it does. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. The point is the infrastructure is there. That signals what kind of broker this is.

Combine that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.

Regulation

Here is the detail that requires honesty. The broker is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.

However. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. That does not guarantee anything. But be part of your decision.

What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether this deal is worth it depends on you.

The Bonus

TabTrade offers a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Standard welcome offer. You deposit, TabTrade top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before funding.

Everything in one place, including all the details before you get more info open an account, is at tradetheday.com.
